The Christian Scholars' Conference joined the Episcopal Dioces of Tennessee Task Force on Anti-Racism and the Equal Justice Initiative in hosting, "Reclaiming Hope Through Remembering" worship service at the Fisk University Memorial Chapel in honor of three men, Ephraim Grizzard, Henry Grizzard, and Samuel Smith, who were lynched in the area.
