Teaching Toward Vocation: Spiritual Formation and Pedagogy in Christian Universities

When: June 8, 2023, 3:30 pm - Thursday

Where: Board Room

Session 5

Session Abstract

What makes Christian education Christian? How can Christian educators in sciences, humanities, and business, as well as theology, teach toward vocation and help their students to see their careers as participating in God’s work in the world? This panel will explore how scholars in various fields frame their discipline in terms of vocation, and how educators can shape students to think theologically about their work.
