Session 3

Session Abstract

This panel will cover social networking site’s impact on our workplaces in our “livable world” and how ethical leaders in human resource roles need to be prepared. As social media continues to be a part of the fabric of our organizations, human resource departments are attempting to keep up with employment laws (Federal and State) and internal policies which help support the best hiring practices. The question is no longer if organizations use SNS information in their decision-making processes, but how this is accomplished.
