Praying with Our Feet: Ministry Outside the Walls
When: June 10, 2021, 3:30 pm - Thursday
Where: Swang 242
Session 5
Session Abstract
How are Christians to respond in the face of suffering, inequity, and systemic injustice? Where are we being called to pray, not just with our lips, but with our feet? A growing number of Christians are exploring what social justice ministry looks like outside the bounds of traditional institutions. This session brings together three nonprofit leaders for a panel discussion about the challenges and transformative power of ministry on the margins. Stories and ideas from Praying with Our Feet, a spiritual memoir by Krinks, will serve as a framework for this moderated discussion.
