Partnerships in Wellness: Service Learning in the Health Professions

When: June 10, 2022, 9:00 am - Friday

Session 6

Session Abstract

To live up to both the mission of the Christian university and the call of God on their lives, service learning opportunities provide care to the community while providing experience for students. The tradition of the SALT program at Lipscomb: Serving And Learning Together continues to use service learning experiences as course requirements to both provide students with practical experience in the field and impress upon students the importance of compassionate care as part of the mission of both the institution and Lipscomb Health.
