Everett Ferguson will be celebrating his 90th birthday on February 18th with a reception at the Hillcrest Church of Christ Family Room from 2 - 3:30 in Abilene, Texas. In the academic world Everett Ferguson has long been considered the gold standard in Patristics studies. Several years ago, through the generous gifts from scholars, students, friends, family, and members of the Hillcrest Church, the CSC established the annual Ferguson Lecture in Early Christian Studies. The list of annual lectures over the past several years composes the best in the field.
