Conference and COVID-19 Updates
April 15, 2021
4/9 Update
We are encouraged to know that more than one third of the country has now received their initial vaccinations. Still, we remain diligent to provide a safe gathering and plan to continue to adhere to CDC recommendations and strictly follow Lipscomb University's summer COVID protocols. I have outlined these guidelines in recent weekly emails and will keep you abreast in these weekly missives.
2/25 Update
While we are preparing for a hybrid CSC our optimism grows for a significant, safe and in-person conference featuring our traditional “family of scholars,” nurturing networks of scholarly dialogue and collaboration.
Registration will be required for both virtual and physically present participants.
All CSC conferees will fill out a daily "COVID-19 Self Assessment" upon entering campus at the beginning of each day. This mandatory self-assessment consists of three questions pertaining to body temperature, coronavirus symptoms, and direct contact. CSC conferees will be able to access the daily assessment conveniently by scanning a QR barcode with their phones.
Until June 9th, I intend to keep you informed on a weekly basis, insuring your safety and preparing for a productive experience as we count the days with joyful expectation.
