Session Abstract
In the midst of rapid change, university campuses are tasked with creating and maintaining a culture of diversity, equity, and belonging. This session will explore strategies for cultivating an inclusive environment that promotes equity and celebrates diversity. Through conversation, storytelling, and group discussion, a panel of experts and practitioners will explore best practices for promoting cultural humility, building inclusive communities, and creating safe spaces for all students, staff, and faculty. The session will also address the challenges and opportunities associated with creating an inclusive campus culture, including strategies for addressing implicit bias, promoting allyship, and addressing systemic inequalities.
