The Good and the Right

Where: Journals Room
Session 3
Session Abstract
In their forthcoming book, The Good and the Right, Caleb Clanton and Kraig Martin have written an introduction to moral philosophy. More to the point, they have written a Christian introduction to moral philosophy. The book is meant to acquaint readers with the major normative moral theories in the history of philosophy and to do so in a way that seriously engages with the presuppositions, affirmations, and implications of the Christian faith. In this session of the Christian Scholars’ Conference, panel members will engage with the book by offering critical feedback and by considering how this book might benefit undergraduates in ethics classes at Christian universities.
