Teaching Biology at a Christian University: A Round Table Discussion

When: June 10, 2022, 9:00 am - Friday

Where: Ezell 363

Session 6

Session Abstract

Paradoxum, the journal of the Christian Scholars’ Conference, is beginning a series on teaching particular academic fields from a Christian vantage. With the upcoming volume’s focus on STEM the series launches with the field of biology. Professors at Christian universities are tasked with incorporating the Christian mission into their course curricula with minimal guidance. This series will look closely at how professors at Christian universities throughout the nation incorporate their university’s Christian mission into their classrooms and curricula. In a round table format and recording for journal purposes, each panelist will deliver prepared comments, and engage other biology professor panelists in lively discussion.
