Session Abstract
Learning to respond to climate change can challenge students intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. Not only must they learn to discern between good information and bad, they must also navigate a narrow path between the twin dangers of complacency and despair. Professors from different academic disciplines who have assigned Katherine Hayhoe’s Saving Us will detail their experiences and suggest pedagogical approaches to these challenges in a round-table discussion, followed by a response from Professor Hayhoe.
