Session 6
Session Abstract
Following up on last year’s panel on Christian Social Thought and Criminal Justice Reform, this roundtable session will explore the way forward for ministry, civic engagement, and activism with regard to the criminal justice system in the United States. Panelists with interdisciplinary academic and practical experience, from both reformist and abolitionist perspectives, will offer reflections on the way forward for Christian civic engagement related to prisons, policing, and corrections. Each panelist will speak for 5-6 minutes, and a moderated discussion and Q & A session will follow.
