Session 1
Session Abstract
This panel explores how women in Churches of Christ assumed leadership roles and became more active in the public life of their congregations. Some of the women who fostered these changes over the past half century will share their stories of gender inclusion and how it affected their lives and the life of their congregations. Kathy Pulley will analyze their stories and situate them in the broader context of Churches of Christ in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries.
