What We’ve Learned: Recovering Hope for Christian Universities (Roundtable)

When: June 10, 2021, 9:00 am - Thursday

Where: Swang 232

Session 3

Session Abstract

Covid-19 impacted not only the Christian Scholars’ Conference but every college and university with administrators forced to make tough decisions about campus closures and teachers redesigning classes for remote delivery. Zoom went from a camera setting to an indispensable meeting tool. One year later, most universities have found a “new normal” for teaching and learning. What have our experiences taught us? How did technology help – and sometimes hinder – the mission, values and goals of Christian universities? This session invites a panel of administrators and faculty from various schools to share their experiences and reflect on how we recover hope on the other side of the pandemic.
